What is a dental implant?
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root consisting of a titanium screw that resembles a tooth root.
Missing teeth can be replaced with this high-tech technique and will look and function like real teeth. Dental implants can replace one or several missing teeth and offer a sound alternative to dentures and bridges.
For the placement of a dental implant a surgical procedure** has to be performed using local anesthetic, identical to what is used for fillings or tooth removal.
A dental implant needs in average a healing time of 3 to 5 months depending on each individual case. After the healing time a crown or bridge with porcelain teeth can be inserted.
Implants in the front area can be often mounted the same day.
After a discussion with your dentist a thorough dental examination will follow. All teeth are examined and the area with the missing tooth or teeth is evaluated.
Maintenance is very important. A regular check-up and professional clean is essential to ensure a long-term success of the implant therapy.

Warranty
We offer a limited warranty on our dental work exclusively in our clinic (replacement only at the AIDER Dental Clinic).
Implant components have a manufacturer warranty.
Warranty is only valid if patients return for the yearly check-up at the AIDER Dental Clinic. These appointments are not included at the initial treatment fees.
Failures due to accidents are not covered. No reimbursement or refund is offered if treatments are done elsewhere. No compensation is given for accommodation, travel cost, amenities, or any additional work (like cleaning’s or fillings) not included in the treatment plan.
** If you wish to take these radiographs with you or to an other clinic we do require payment of the taken x-rays and scan.

After an initial consultation and treatment planning you will receive a final quote which is reflecting your needs and will be accurate. Please note that dental implants are not suitable for all patients. When a patient is found not to be a suitable candidate no treatment is offered or rendered. The results of individual treatments may vary.
Payment plans are subject to approval by a third party organisation (TLC and Afterpay). We can arrange a free quote on the day of the initial consultation. Although there is no interest charged, there are small account fees payable to the third party organisations.

WARNING: Any surgical procedure carries risks which also may depend on your general health. This will be discussed with you prior to any surgical intervention. Not every patient is suitable for receiving dental implants. When a patient is found not to be suitable candidate for dental implants no treatment is performed. Results of individual treatments may vary.
